Lessons are available at two Victoria BC locations: Groove Studios and the Jon Miller Drum Studio, where I also teach drum students of South Island Music Studio.
I've been teaching drum set lessons for over 20 years. My students regularly excel in their school Concert, Jazz, and R&B bands and many go on to post-secondary studies and careers in music. As a graduate of McGill University's Jazz Performance Programme (B. Mus, with distinction), I am familiar with audition and musicianship requirements for drummers who wish to pursue post-secondary studies.
Lessons are geared to all styles, ability levels and ages. At my studio students play on acoustic drums and cymbals.
